As promised, the lads a joined by friend of the Pod, Rich to discuss the 1st month of the season with Fantasy football.
Has Scott already stopped paying attention before the 1st international break?  Has Andy turned into a statistical genius?
The lads go into performance, how they pick their teams and some key stats going into match week 5.
In true Andy and Scott fashion, where professionalism is key, they lads come up with a competition on the spot predicting this weeks matches.
 
Do they know what they're talking about, or are they just as clueless with football?

This week we didn't wait to start the pod before the Chaos starts - it started before we hit record and started going downhill quicker than usual.
On to the serious stuff - after the last episode took a dark turn, the lads stuck onto the list of conspiracy theories and delved into a couple that were not so as bad.
Scott tries to take us back into the year 1729 with the Phantom Time Hypothesis with the ultimate example of someone trying to make themselves more important than they were.
Andy takes on the brave task of trying to condense Denver Airport into a short section of 1 pod.
we go back to some more quizzes this week but a bit more friendly and Andy isnt putting Scott under pressure.

From Tea to Terrifying Roads
This week’s episode takes a few unexpected turns…
We kick things off with the simple pleasure of a proper cup of tea, before somehow spiralling into the bizarre world of figging. Yes, that is a real thing. No, we’re not entirely sure why we ended up there either.
Things then take a much darker turn as Andy tells us about the Ant Hill Kids, a disturbing cult and one of those stories where you’ll probably want to know what you’re getting yourself into before listening.

Thankfully, we eventually drag ourselves back towards something slightly less horrifying, with a look at the fixed calendar theory, before Andy takes us on a tour of some of the scariest and most dangerous roads from around the world.

This week on The Weekly Catch Up Podcast, there’s absolutely no plan whatsoever… so basically, business as usual.
Scott brings Andy some of the strangest news stories from around the world, leading to the usual question of “How the hell did we end up talking about this?”
We also chat about an outdoor cinema experience, movies, and whether watching a film outside is genuinely better or just sitting in a field while trying not to freeze your knackers off.
Then Andy breaks out the random questions, including the absolute belter: if Lightning McQueen existed, would he need car insurance or life insurance? 🚗💨
There’s weird news, random thoughts, questionable logic and plenty of general nonsense along the way.
Basically, it’s a catch-up. Just with significantly less catching up and considerably more talking rubbish.

This week Scott goes into the promised bleakness of the Jacuzzi of despair, and its not a crowd of miserable 50+ divorced men squeezed into a Lay-Z-Spa.
Theres some random tangents onto wonders of the world and proof that Scott is useless without his glasses.

Being as professional as we are, we cannot remember what was discussed or how it went and it would be too easy to check, so sit back, listen, and be just as surprised as us!

Things get in the way, we get it, the lads are no different.  Working multiple jobs, family commitments and the rest have got in the way causing a short break for the pod, but the lads are back and ready to mull over the important things in life again.
